July 7 // a pioneer Summer Children will learn the definition of the victorian era time period, will learn and experience typical summertime activities for children in the victorian era. Activities include making folding fans, wildflower gathering, jump roping, and an interactive tour through the historical house ages 7-12; 1-3 pm SNACK: APPLES, PRETZELS, LEMONADE;
July 14 // Hosting a victorian tea party campers will plan, prepare, and enjoy a traditional victorian tea party. This week, campers will learn how to properly set a table, create their own butter sandwiches, play parlor games, create their own name plates, and more! ages 7-12; 1-3 PM snack: Tea, Butter & cucumber sandwiches, cookies, lemonade
July 21 // Victorian Architecture: design your own home! CHILDREN WILL LEARN THE DEFINITION OF ARCHITECTURE, IDENTIFY THE UNIQUE FEATURES OF THE VICTORIAN HOME AND THE FUNCTIONS OF EACH ROOM. CHILDREN WILL HAVE AN OPPORTUNITY TO CREATE THEIR OWN VICTORIAN HOME USING 3-D MODELS AND PARTICIPATE IN A FULL-SCALE SCAVENGER HUNT THROUGH THE HISTORICAL HOUSE. July 28 // 125 years: A timeline of norman history Interested in the early norman founders? come this week to look at old photos of early norman and Learn how to read early norman maps of the land run. We'll investigate the differences between main street today and before and we'll finish up with our cotton sellers obstacle course in the backyard! Ages 7-12; 1-3 pm Snack: lemonade, animal crackers
