Membership in the Cleveland County Historical Society

Interested in supporting local history? Want free admission to the Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum? Consider becoming a member of the Cleveland County Historical Society!

The Cleveland County Historical Society relies on financial support from the community to help create exhibits and host events at the Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum.  The Society also uses membership fees to maintain their photograph and artifacts archives.  We appreciate the financial support of our members and look forward to seeing you at our events at the Historical House Museum!

Basic membership benefits include:
  • free admission to the Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum
  • a 10% discount in the museum's gift shop
  • early registration period for children's workshops and history camps
  • discounted registration fees for many of the museum's programs
  • access to our monthly email newsletter, The Moore-Lindsay Messenger, including two special sections that are not available to non-members
  • the right to vote on CCHS officers

CCHS offers five membership levels.  Each level includes the basic member benefits and levels vary based upon the number of people included in the benefits and the number of included guest admissions to the MLHHM.  Memberships are good for one year from date of purchase.
  • Individual  - $15
    • Includes all current basic membership benefits
    • Benefits apply only to the individual named on the membership
    • Free admission for the named member
  • Couple  - $25
    • Includes all basic membership benefits
    • Benefits apply to two adults named on the membership
    • Free admission for named members
  • Small Group  - $40
    • Includes all basic membership benefits
    • Benefits apply to one or two adults named on the membership
    • Free admission for named members and up to 2 guests at a time
  • Medium Group  - $60
    • Includes all basic membership benefits
    • Benefits apply to one or two adults named on the membership
    • Free admission for named members and up to 4 guests at a time
  • Large Group  - $80
    • Includes all basic membership benefits
    • Benefits apply to one or two adults named on the membership
    • Free admission for named members and up to 6 guests at a time
