The Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum is the perfect location for small weddings, meetings, receptions, parties, luncheons, teas, seminars, or lectures and is available to the community for rental.
Rental of the Moore-Lindsay House includes access to the Historical House and the Carriage House.  The fee is $50/hour, with a two-hour minimum, and a $50 cleaning deposit.  Fees can be paid via cash, check, or credit card either in person, through the mail, or over the phone.  Rentals are available 10am-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday.  Alternate times may be arranged pending staff availability, and may be subject to a $50 after-hours fee.  Tours of the Museum can be arranged in conjunction with rentals if desired, but must be requested in advance.  

Rental Includes:
  • Historical House building 
  • Carriage House building
  • Carriage House kitchenette (includes microwave, refrigerator/freezer, coffee machine, and sink)
  • Porches, garden, and outside yard areas
  • Access to folding chairs and tables

Seating Options, Historical House:
  • Formal Parlor, seated audience, 20 attendees maximum, folding chairs
  • Other options may be requested but must be approved by CCHS staff
Seating Options, Carriage House:
  • Seated audience, 20 attendees maximum, folding chairs
  • Board room set-up, 16 attendees at long table (pull-down screen available)
  • Party/luncheon set-up, 16 attendees at 4 card tables
  • Kids at craft tables, 18 attendees at long folding craft tables
  • Kids seated on floor, 30 attendees maximum
  • Other options as proposed

Rules:
  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Historical House unless pre-approved by MLHHM staff
  • Food and drink are allowed in the Carriage House, porches, and outdoor areas.
  • Furnishings and artifacts inside the museum are not to be handled or relocated, and museum furniture is not to be used for seating.
  • The Moore-Lindsay Historical House Museum and property is tobacco-, cannabis-, and alcohol-free.  All alcoholic beverages, marijuana products, and tobacco products are forbidden on City of Norman property.  This includes e-cigarettes and vapes.
  • Use of any type of open flame (including candles) anywhere on the property is strictly prohibited.
  • No tape, tacks, glitter, or confetti of any kind can be used when decorating.
